After radiation exposure, what exactly happens during skin necrosi?

I understand Necrosis is the pattern of cell death, so what exactly is happening to the cell as it’s dying. What is happening to the muscle, the ligaments or the skin as this progresses?

Well, pretty much same thing as what happens to any other dead thing, bacteria begins to eat it and causes it to rot.
