As babies growing up, how are we able to understand what means what in a specific language, also how do we figure it out if two languages are spoken in a household e.g. English and Spanish?

word concept association. getting fed, you hear “eat” or… comer (google translate) repeat that 4 sessions every day, multiple time at the table, you learn the pattern. same with other words. you get introduced to words like potty, walk, come, sleep, lay down, etc etc. do that in multiple languages and baby will learn associaton in multiple languages. i know a friend that’s kid is gonna learn to be trilingual as she grows, chinese, spanish and english.
