As far as I know we had 5 ice ages I know what caused them but how do we know we had those. (some million or thousands years ago.)

Extinction entities brought about death stranding events which caused extinction of most life. We know this due the umbilical cords found in ancient fossils of creatures that don’t normally have them. If we can fully establish the chiral network we might be able to learn more about how these extinction entities caused the last five mass extinctions.
