Being so light, how come butterflies and other small flying insects don’t get wooshed away by the wind all the time? Do they?

They seem to get around without too much hassle meanwhile I see leaves swooshing around everywhere

i have never seen man insects on a very strong windy day. Because the get wooshed away.

Many insects are build to have less air resistance. But on very windy days, they get wooshed away too.
