Your circulatory system is responsible for carrying blood throughout your body. Your pulses are like mini pumps that assist your heart in pumping blood around your body.

Breathing deeply and steadily oxygenates your bloodstream more deeply and evenly so our heart and pulses which synchronize do not have to work so hard or quickly to distribute oxygen evenly to the body.

nb. The circulatory system is responsible for carrying more than oxygen, it distributes your fuel and carrys away your waste to the correct organs via your bloodstream as well as supplying your immune system.

Breathing exercises can be used to increase or decrease the oxygen available causing your circulatory system to speed up or slow down as your organs demand.

There are baroreceptors in your venous systems, that detect changes in blood pleasure and sends nervous signals for the body to increase/decrease blood pressure accordingly, to maintain it steady.
One way for you to maintain body pressure is by increasing/decreasing your heart rate.
When you breath, you activate the baroreceptors in your chest area by expanding/compressing your mediastine. (every inhale exhale affects almost instantly your heart beat rate)
