Caffeine makes certain people awake and certain sleepy. How?

An example of this is I don’t feel effects of caffeine. If anything I could have a nap after a caffeinated drink but others get a little “high” or push a bit harder for workouts or other things

Drug sensitivity comes in a spectrum sometimes. Did you know that 1 in 5 cats is immune to the effects of catnip?.

It’s like this for many other substances! Perhaps your liver is just really good at breaking it down, perhaps your receptors in the brain are wired juuust a little different so it has a drastically reduced effect.

We are all different, and so is the way our body handles substances.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone getting sleepy from caffeine.

Closest I’ve heard is, it’s ineffective but not a sedative effect

Any chance you might have ADHD?

Caffeine doesn’t give you more alertness or energy, it just makes you not get any more tired than you already are. It’s kind of an energy buffer.
