Can a continuous EMP be possible? If so, how would it work compared to a standard pulse EMP

Just the title. I was wondering that if there was a system that constantly (automatically) replaces damaged parts of a circuit whenever it gets fried (in this case, an EMP), a continuous EMP would be efficient to counteract such defences.

What you are describing is “a really powerful radio transmitter”. The basic technology is very simple. It just takes a *lot* of power
