Can a gunshot wound have the same entry and exit point?

I have read that the possible causes of lack of exit wound is when the bullet is still lodged inside or when the entry and exit point is the same. How can a bullet enter and exit the same point?

Bullit just hits edge of body( flesh wound) takes a small trough instead of a hole, therefore entry and exit are same? Are they not?
