My understanding of that movement is this:
So there’s the concept of the _singularity_. In the tech domain, the singularity describes a hypothetical future where tech growth is out of control and irreversible. Intelligent and powerful technologies will radically and unpredictably transform our reality.
Then there’s Nick Land who has authored theories of accelerationism to advocate that AI and large language models (LLMs) (e.g.; GPT) will lead to a post-scarcity technological utopia. In other words a techno-capitalist singularity when capital is freed from humans and taken over by machines.
Effective Accelerationism is a collection of best practices and ideals around making that ^ happen.
I think?
