There are interesting stories about experiences of coma patients being able to see and hear everything in their room while they were comatose, and remembering things that they could not otherwise know, when they woke up.

There’s this one about a woman who was in a coma for months, her mother played a Celine Dion album for her on repeat, because she thought her daughter liked it. The daughter woke up, and said “if I ever hear that Celine Dion album again I will kill you.” [Source](https://www.owenlab.uwo.ca/pdf/Times—Review.pdf)
