Hello, in bodybuilding people get really tan to show off their muscles better and I was thinking how that affects other sides, like bdsm for example if you would cane a pale person and a tan person on which skin would it show more? and whats the mechanic behind it?

Bruising depends largely on how deep the blood vessels are under the skin – so there’s that. However, if you did it on the exact same spot of the same person, once in a tanned state and once in a pale state, with equal force, the pale skin would show it more due to the bigger contrast between the hues.
