Toothpaste not so much, it has fluoride and some other ingredents that helps with the teeths natural lining. Bleach will whiten everything out (same way ehen you ‘stain’ a colored shirt) but it also damages the teeths lining. You basically cant have a significat whitening without some damage to teeth, some modern techiques are better than old fashioned bleach but it’s still a thing to avoid in general
