Ok so basically 1970 32 bit was created and it is big number clock used to count, when number reach limit, it reset, 32 bit technology will probably have problems, it will happen on January 19th of 2038 at 3:14:07 AM. There, explained in a way an actual 5 year old would more or less understand.
