Eli5: A lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays, which makes sense to me since they’ve been open all weekend. Why do a lot of Asian restaurants close on Tuesday instead?

Monday in New Orleans is RB&R day. Red beans and rice. Some spots open for the tradition but close on Tuesday. Just depends. The RB&R Twitter guy is hilarious though.
