Why is it that In a positive e-cell…

More products decrease the cell voltage and the removal of products increase the cell voltage

I figured it out.
It comes down to Gibbs free energy and Le Chatelier’s principle
– if products increase, Products shifts towards reactants and becomes less spontaneous
(Becomes spontaneous in opposite direction)
– if products decrease, Reactants shifts right toward products which is spontaneous
.
You can also think about this mathematically,
When finding nonstandard cell potential, you have to take a ln(Q)
Q = products over reactants

– If you have a smaller number of products (total), Q is negative and you subtract from the cell potential
– If you have more products (total), Q is positive and you add to the cell potential
This is just ln(x) rules
