It’s the ratio you get when you try to make the ratio between two pieces equal to the ratio of the whole to the larger piece.
It doesn’t really have a lot of uses, but people who like it have used it in their art and architecture.
Sometimes it seems to show up in nature but that’s coincidence more often than not.
