eli5 How can air bubbles form immediately in glasses of water?

It happens immediately after pouring water into any glass (cold or hot) and the walls of the glass get filled with tons of microbubbles that don’t go away.

A glass is filled with air before pouring water in. And sometimes the air bubbles do not have the force to push them against the friction holding them in place. Usually you can make the bubbles go up by tapping the glass on the table. This gives them an extra push to go against the friction.
