It makes sense for something like pepper spray cause they’re so wacked out they don’t even feel the pain. I thought tasers forced you down by making your muscles contract though? How do drugs prevent this?

Certain drugs mainly stimulants ( cocaine meth etc..) work by overclocking your CNS this can nullify a Taser or stun gun for a short period of time the dangerous part is because stimulants jacking up your heart rate and blood pressure as it puts the user at a high risk for heart attack or stroke
Tranquilizers like pcp also work because you simply don’t feel anything.
