If they don’t have muscles, tendons, and a skeletal system, how do plants like sunflowers move to face the sub? Or flowers close at night?

They have an adaptation that causes them to grow slower on the parts of their stems that are hit with direct sunlight. Due to this the side in the shade grows after causing the stem to bend to point towards the light.

A chemical called auxin, sunlight destroys auxin so the side of the plant facing the sun has less auxin, auxin is a growth hormone so the side away from the sun grows more bending the plant towards the sun https://youtu.be/3q6C8coA5yc
