I’ve recently got one of those countertop ice maker and I was fascinated from how fast it work and how the ice comes from little rods and I’d like to know how it works.
Those little rods are freezing cold. They dip down into the water and freezes it when it touches the rods. After a factory specified time, the machine decides it’s done enough, and lifts out of the water. Then it releases the cubes.
I have one too and googled a video once.
