I am about to get my teeth whitened from a dentist. I was told that 3 layers of some solution will be applied to get the required results. So just want to know how it works? Is it effective? Does it wear off after a few years? How do I maintain my teeth after the procedure?
I just want to get some clarity before I go for it. Please do help if you have knowledge about it.

You could also try the take home tray option. So at your leisure, usually 30min 2x for two weeks for same results as the in office with the 3 layers and light. You can stop if become sensitive, or if you reach desired shade. Can always re apply as needed before a special event or as teeth become stained again
