What I mean is that there’s option for 1x, 1.5x, 2x but it is very clear that a 2 hour long video doesn’t finish in just 1 hour if watched in 2x playback so how does it work, what’s the calculation for it?

According to a 30 second video timer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yZcDeVsj_Y) on Youtube played at 2x speed, the timer took 15 seconds to complete.
So if you were to watch a 2 hour video at 2x speed, it *would* complete in 1 hour, assuming you didn’t pause it to go grab a cup of tea.
I’m not sure what you mean. I just watched a 1 minute video on youtube at 2x speed and timed it and it took 30 seconds.
