With a magical thing called a transistor. An electron goes through one way, and it causes 100 more electrons to go through crosswise. If you use two of them, you can make it 10000 electrons. One snowball triggers an avalanche. And that’s how the tiny electric current from the pickup makes a big electric current go through the speaker. Of course, the extra electrons come from the wall.
It turns low voltage high amperage electricity into high voltage low amperage electricity. You can use it to amplify any electrical signal. You use an electrical switch (MOSFET or tubes), along with transformers (converts low voltage to high voltage or high voltage to low voltage), and you have capacitor to help store electricity and discharge it quickly, all working together along with a couple of other components to get the signal you want out of the device you’re trying to amplify.
