It isn’t. Inspections happen after events. It is too costly to review and most buildings have protections in place for the building to last a long time without any worry.
Isn’t there one in San Francisco that’s slowly falling over because someone cut corners on the foundation? And the collapsing condos in Florida built on a swamp… Maybe buildings should have more frequent inspections!
