Eli5 How multitasking works in the human brain

i find it really hard to play the piano with both my hands at the same time, the same way i find it hard to drum with my hands and kick the bass at the same time.

is this a psychological issue (brain biology) and can’t be fixed? Or can it be learned?

That isn’t multitasking per se. Multitasking is attenuating to _separate_ activities simultaneously, which the human brain cannot do. It can context switch quickly but not actually pay attention to two things at once.

Yours more seems like an issue of coordination
