ELI5. If the Earth’s core is so hot

Question

I saw this question somewhere else, but if the Earth’s core is so hot, then why are the deepest parts of the Oceans so cold? Shouldn’t they be boiling or at least warmer?

The earth’s core is still really, really far from even the deepest depths of the ocean. About 1,800 miles (2,900 km) from the ocean floor to the outer edge of the outer core.
