Think of a simpler case, I use a piece of black tape to cover the eyes in the photo. Given the image with the black tape, there is no way to calculate what the eyes looked like. Maybe they had blue eye shadow on, or maybe a nicer copper shade, the information needed can’t extracted from the black tape.
No. Hollywood-type photo enhancement isn’t a real thing. You can’t “find” data that wasn’t in the original image.
Sometimes the data is there and just not in a way that we can easily see…in that case, adjusting contrast or balance or doing edge detection can help make what was already there more obvious. But if something was truly hidden, i.e. not in the photo at all, there’s no way to pull it out.
