Sorry if it’s been asked before but how come we can look up and see stars but when NASA releases photos taken in space it’s just a black abyss with no stars at all?

Stars are not very bright. Just try to take a photo with a person and stars during the night. Now take another picture with a flash. See? No stars anymore.
