It’d probably help if I knew the term but I don’t even know that. You see it on some toys or things like disposable vapes. You have to pull the tabs or stickers off for the product to operate. What’s it called and how’s it work?

I’ve seen those tabs. The plastic actually goes down into the battery case and comes between the battery electrodes and the contacts in the device, so no electric current can flow. It seems they’re just called pull tabs.
