I just need a little help with this part because it’s a lot to wrap my brain around.
Does it matter TB to GB when it comes to the gaming console?

If you mean terabyte and gigabyte, then roughly 1TB is 1000 GB. That tells you how many games you can store on your console. Even games that come on disc will still use some of that number, so more is better if they play a lot of different games. Good on you for doing your homework.
