I recently used 10×40 binoculars. They weren’t powerful enough for me and I don’t fully understand those 10×40 numbers. I want something more powerful to see a bigger field of view. For wildlife, birds etc.

So by changing the 1st set of numbers, it’s going to zoom in more , but anything over 10 would require a tripod or stand?
By changing the second number to higher it would increase my field of view and also increase the details?
