In simple terms, dialectical thinking is about seeing the bigger picture and understanding that things aren’t always black and white but can be a combination of different elements.

For instance nature vs nurture instead of seeing human behaviour as purely a result of genetics (nature) or upbringing (nurture), dialectical thinking involves considering how both nature and nurture interact to shape an individual’s development.
