As i was looking what types of investing i can do and i was told that ETF is a great place to invest. Now i have 0 idea what ETF is and how it works, where should i go to invest is there a platform or through banks? And any other relevant information that may help me understand. Thank you guys in advance!

Rather than buy a single stock (ie “Apple” or “Disney”) you can buy an ETF which is a pool of several good stocks that is (typically) managed.
If gives you a diversified asset with only buying one asset.
Also, you have more price options for buying it. Doesn’t have to be the full stock price but can be varying amounts and sometimes fractional amounts.
Big idea: 1 stock is risky, multiple stocks lower your risk (but there is still risk), ETFs feel like buying one stock but you’re actually buying many.
