I’ve had some pretty bad headaches the past month. Since yesterday though my hearts been beating pretty rapidly and I can feel the beats in my chest and in my head. I have a doctors appointment today but not until later so I’ve just been sitting here freaking myself out because it won’t go away.

Please have a glass of cold water, sip slowly. Sit still and just concentrate on breathing slowly. Try to relax and calm down. You’re getting all anxious about nothing.
You have a heart beat in your head because your blood pressure is likely to be a little high. This is in response to stress that you under. It’s likely you are telling your brain the wrong things, and it is responding by preparing you to either fight, or flight. It’s a normal mechanism that you and your body controls, to keep you safe.
I doubt there are any threats that you need to fight right now, and running away from your head won’t work, so it’s best to try to be calm.
(I’ve treated you a bit like a five year old as that’s the spirit of the subreddit, but the advice is just the same for adults!)
