Eli5 what direction does air go when a bird takes off 166 viewsJanuary 1, 2024 Question98.78K May 24, 2023 0 Comments I always thought the air would be blown outward, but isn’t that only when they land. Or do they (stupid question inbound) pull air in the take off I have been thinking about this for days lol In: 4 2 Answers ActiveNewestOldest Anonymous Posted May 24, 2023 0 Comments Flying for birds is similar to how humans swim in water. We push against the water in order to propel ourselves. Birds’ wings push against the air in order to generate lift and fly.
