When a couple days they are trying for a baby what does that mean? I never understood it. Does it mean they used to not have sex? Is baby sex different from normal sex?

It means they are having sex without birth control of any type. And having sex regularly to increase chances of pregnancy.
It could also mean they are taking hormones to assist, or doing other things like IVF.
Basically, when having sex you are either:
1 – Trying not to have a baby – just having sex for enjoyment
2 – Not preventing it, but not doing anything to help it along
3 – Or actively trying
