So, first off “social libertarianism” is *not* the same thing as “libertarian socialism” I can’t emphasis that enough. If you were called a libertarian socialist then please use and search for that term if you want to understand it. Infact these two terms refer to two different *opposing* ideologies.
Libertarian socialism means you highly value individual freedom. I.e. think drugs, gay marriage, building a house right next to a grocery store, etc. should be legal.
While also believing in socialism. Which is a belief that the means of production should be controlled by society as a whole as opposed to private corporations. Which is to say corporations and individuals should not entitled to profits generated by their workers.
Edit: social libertarianism is basically just libertarianism (as mentioned above) but without the socialist aspect. And a bit more emphasis on making sure everyone has a basic standard of living than standard libertarianism
