Typically, they carry on doing whatever the mother cell was doing, if we’re talking about mitosis. The point of cell division is to make an extra cell, either because you’re growing or because you got hurt and need to replace some lost/damaged/worn cells.
If we’re talking about meiosis, then the daughter cell(s) will get ovulated or ejaculated, and might end up as part of a fertilized egg if all goes well.
