if you flood you have to dry everything

receptacle can hold water inside and that can corrode with electricity

then who knows it can leak into ground bad voltage weakened wire dangerous when pulling high current etc

so turn off breaker open every cover get it inspected i guess

it’d be very hard to keep that waterproof with traditional design
hmm maybe better design like waterproof charging port on phones
