Though we think of Hollywood actors getting paid massive amounts and getting great deals through their agents, not all actors receive that.
They have a minimum wage called ‘scale’. You can have a small role or a heftier one and still get paid the savme.
They want better scale for the lower end working actors.

There are residuals that are paid, generally small amounts when the movie or tv show get rebroadcast. What has been murky is what should the residuals be for streaming services. There’s also no box office numbers because its a monthly service.
Then it’s studios trying to get the rights to someone’s likeness, so they don’t have to pay the actor. They just pay a day’s work and get a computer do the work for them.
