Currently suffering with some poison ivy rashes and wondering what that yellow oil like stuff is. I always thought it was more of the oil from the plant that could spread – just learned that that’s not true!

Blisters can be filled with several types of liquid:
Serum (water + carbs & proteins), plasma, blood, and pus. Serum and plasma can look yellowish or green. Blood looks red or blue, and pus is usually pinkish/white.
The type of liquid inside a blister usually depends on the type of blister and what the wound under it is like.
