Eli5 what’s the association between cigarettes and post-sexual intercourse?

Nicotine is a stimulant. Smoking a cigarette after sex gives you a nice little pick-me-up. And if you’re a regular smoker, you’re likely craving one by the time you’re done having sex.
I feel like it’s a nice way for the tobacco insustry to advertise smoking as something good, and make people associate it with sex in some sleezy way.
Can someone confirm or deny this?
I’ve also noticed smoking being shown in a lot of movies in general, even though it’s not important part of the plot
