I know knitting makes clothes but can you make clothes out of crochet too?

crochet requires only one, hooked needle. It only has a single unsecured loop at a time, which is held on the single needle.
knitting requires two needles. It has a whole row of unsecured loops, which are all held on one or both needles.
You can make clothes out of both.
