ELI5- Why are some musicians credited and others not?

I really didn’t know how to word the question but here’s an example. I have no clue who is behind the music in most Taylor Swift songs. I am sure I could find this out but when Taylor Swift plays on the radio, these people are never mentioned. Whereas if it was a more popular musician, say the Chainsmokers, they are always credited, usually before the singer. Same with DJs like Calvin Harris or Zedd. Some singers, such as whoever sings “Hey Brother” by Avicii, aren’t credited at all, yet they do the same amount of vocals as Taylor Swift would in one of her “own” songs. I’ve thought that it could be that the DJs produce it, but I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t produce all her music yet gets sole credit. Why?

So it appears you’re asking why radio hosts don’t mention various producers and stuff on T-swift music, not the actual like production of her music? Why because fans don’t give two shits they just want to her TSwift doing her thing. Nothing else matters. For some DJ or something it may be interesting its a collab with some random producer or something, and may entice you to listen, with TSwift, you care about her, a radio DJ doesn’t need to say anything, just Tswift and the fans are in.

You probably never heard who produced a Metallica song or Hanson song or Rick Astley either.
