sometimes the way nature goes is not the way you think or expect it will go. for instance, there is a species of hedgehog in central asia that is at the top of the food chain, it goes around killing and eating venomous snakes. this is why nature is so widely studied.
That makes me wonder. You know those house cats that people post with the super-buff muscle gene? Anyone ever seen a big cat with that anomaly? I highly doubt it would help in the “survival of the fittest” sense; I just want to see a picture of that.
