Another point: the most famous reef is Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Australia is pretty far from the equator. So that is obviously not the issue.

The same answer as most of these questions. With enough time, species could adapt to the changes. But the changes are happening too fast for that.

They need to drag the continent they live on.

Seriously, they need a place to live, they take what they get. They can only “move” by releasing children and hoping for them to find a better place.
