ELI5, Why can’t we remember what we saw/experienced when we were inside the womb?

We didn’t see anything in there, and our brain probably wasn’t developed enough to process experiences and form memories. Even if we could form memories, we would forget them shortly after, like what happens to every person until they are about 4 years old.
