Basically suspension.

To carry alot of weight, stiff suspension does better.

But if you ever rode a truck with a solid seat and no Weight. It’s a spine shattering ride.

So the suspension is in the seat.

You probably don’t notice it much in a bus because there is other people. And thst dampens the suspension
