Because their life revolves around survival as opposed to sitting inside and playing video games and being lazy. There’s no opportunity to be lazy. If you’re hungry, work. If your partner/”tribe” is sleepy, you’re staying awake and vice versa. If your territory is impeded upon, fight. Etc etc.
