All the alphabets are related. They come from the ancient Greek alphabet. There have been a lot of divergence through the last 2500 years but one of the things that have stuck around in most alphabets are the ordering. There are exceptions but mostly obscure ones.

Because modern alphabets descend from the same alphabet, i.e. Greek. There are other writing systems around the Mediterranean that are similar because they are all in turn derived from Phoenician. They’re all related.

They come from the greek alphabet which started with alpha. Most alphabets also have an equivalent of beta second. Even the alphabet song is the same in most languages. Give or take a few letters.

Fun fact. The word alphabet is just putting alpha and beta, the first two letters in the greek alphabet, together into a single word.

We basically do same thing in English when we call the alphabet the ABCs.
